This is the prevailing thought that seems to have taken hold in many business offices.

For instance, in a nearby town, a restaurant burnt down, taking an insurance company and an ice cream parlor with it. I doubt the insurance company had considered this possibility as a serious concern. I doubt the ice cream parlor did either. The fact is, today the restaurant is back in business, and the other two businesses are gone.

You can take every precaution to make your office and business safe, but your neighbors may not be.
